I am nay a fan of really big watermarks on photos. Little ones up in the corner, or placed cleverly within the photo are fine, but I don’t want it to be the first thing I see. It detracts from the actual image.
I mention this because I have this friend on Facebook who is a professional photographer who takes portraits and the like, and she posted up some pictures she’d taken, and her signature on it was HUGE, and it was in this massive curly text, like cursive on steroids. Like, it was covering the kid’s forehead! I don’t pretend to know anything about photography, I don’t know if her gaudy signature will be on the prints she gives to the parents, but I do know what looks good, or I like to think I do anyways, and that does nay look good.
